Normandy Farms Campground

What can I possibly say about Normandy Farms Campground? This was our first stop in our excursion and what a treat it was! We bought our Thor Chateau 24FF and spent countless hours figuring out the kinks, ins and out, and everything in-between to make sure our C Class was running appropriately. Without naming where we bought it, it only had 4 thousand miles on it, for being a 2021. Little did we know that the microwave didn’t work and the toilet had a slow leak. We were upset obviously, but Normandy Farms made us forget the stress.

We actually stayed there for two weeks and moved to numerous campsites throughout the park. funny enough, I was more concerned with being able to empty the black tank than any other hookup we had. The staff was unbelievably friendly and even escorted us to our original site. Throughout our different stays, the staff was always accommodating and always worked with me. Although I felt like a nuisance, I was always met with smiles.

During Halloween, they had really cool events (Spooky walks, Bingo, Pumpkin Carving, Trick or Treating, Arts and Crafts, and many more). You can see some of the pictures in the gallery. I could go on and on about the amenities, you seriously need to check it out yourselves. To start our trip with things not working appropriately, this was probably the best place we could have been. I even had parts delivered from Amazon to our site.

To start a long journey is exciting, but nerve racking in the same breathe, I feel extremally confidant moving forward after being in Normandy Farms! We will continue to work out the kinks and enjoy our journey! This is our time to see the U.S. as it should be seen and nothing can stop us now! On to our next journey!
